Hello
My name is Stephanie Hotaling M.A., LMFT
Thank you for taking the time to look at my page and learn about who I am and the work I do with my client's. I have been in practice since 2001 and hold licenses in Marriage and Family therapy in both Colorado and Wyoming. I see clients at my office in Fort Collins Colorado and virtually.
I love to meet new people, hear about their life journey, and the goals they have for the future. It is a joy and a privilege to help people meet their personal therapy goals and find the healing or change they desire.
Specialties and Counseling Philosophy
Due to my early work with adolescents and young children, for many years now I have specialized in working with children. I offer play therapy for little ones, and traditional talk therapy, sand tray and art therapy for adolescents. I always encourage families to be part of the therapy process and have seen wonderful changes occur when a family decides to tackle challenges together. I have also extensive training to help individuals that have experienced various kinds of trauma. Including both childhood developmental trauma and acute trauma. One of my favorite hobbies is to garden. I see counseling as opportunity for people to bloom and grow, with the help God gives us and all the powerful tools He uses in our lives.
